So I have been rocking the shit out of my insomnia lately.. going to bed 4am and waking up at various times.. I have tried all my usual brain resting things and nothing seems to work.. So if you see a late late hello from me on AIM or Yahoo when you are asleep.. its just me pinging for life and someone to bug.
And if you are awake late.. Its Tarpo76 pretty much on anything.

I wonder what makes most vegetarians lose their sense of humor? Is there something in a meatless diet that makes it hard to be funny? or are they just really really constipated.
I think I know 5 non meat eaters who aren't grumpy about it all the time.

There is a show on National Geographic Channel called Predator CSI..
It was an episode about the whale that exploded on the back of a semi truck or something.. It was kinda cool.. but there is nothing on earth that could live up to the images in my head at seeing the name of the show in the channel guide.

I was going to get a Tattoo of where I am from on my penis.. but I decided not to when I realized that "Newfoundland and Labrador" would look weird becuase of all the extra space that would be there when I am hard.

Ok.. So Tank Girl is a pretty lousy movie.. But I was struck when I saw it for the first time because of the actress that played Jet Girl.. she was Gorgeous.. wasn't in the movie as much as I wanted.. and back in 1995 when I looked on IMDB for her.. She didn't have much in the way of other movies and I had no idea who she was or if she would do anything else.. so tonight.. while googling.. and after having caught part of Tank Girl on TV last week I decided to see if she did anything since..
So yeah.. it was Naomi Watts.. So she kinda got her friggin career on track after Tank Girl..

There was once a time that I would read an online comic and wish it was "good enough" to get into newspapers..
Today I noticed that I wished a newspaper comic that had limited online archives but I was enjoying quite a bit was an online comic so I could read it all and never have to set foot on those shitty hard to navigate syndicate pages. I shouldn't have to go to wikipedia to find out who the hell the characters are in a comic.

Mom would like to say I saved a dog today.. but a little poodlish dog got out of its owners car and was playing the "You cant catch me" game.. in a parking lot.. So I got out of the car.. and called the dog like I was the most exciting awesome thing in the whole world and they had to come over to me right away because if they didn't they would miss something SOOOO awesome.. which of course worked perfectly and I took the little dog back to its owner..
I mean thats what anyone would have done right?

What a fun day! Went out with my sister and did some running around hitting some geek stores.. Picked up a few bottles of Pop Shoppe soda.. which was good for some old memories. Also picked up Monty Python Fluxx, and Family Fluxx. Both are fine on their own but Family is going into the Fluxx deck for sure. Now I just need Eco and Stoner for all the sets.. and of course I need the new revised rules and updated cards.. but that can wait :) Also picked up Guillotine. Which was surprisingly fun for such a simple game.. Going to be fun with a few extra people. Just gotta wait for Dave to get home :)
Also got a B-day gift for Dad.. and Kate got something for Mom.. now I need something for Mom, and she needs something for Dad and we are all set.
Really a fun day.. now i'm considering renting a movie or just hanging out and catching up on Burn Notice eps that I downloaded.
The fire last night was really nice too. But now all my sheets and pillowcases smell like woodsmoke.. But I don't really mind.. its a nice smell.. Should probably wash them tonigh though..

I just had about the best plate of supper ever.. Turkey, turnip, carrot, potato, fresh greens.. Gravy.. sweet mustard pickles, homemade bread.. and a can of pineapple crush...
Sweet god its good to be home.
